With a total of more than 50 years of experience in software development, we are in the position to manage large and complex projects. We always keep an eye on the efficiency of programming, thereby reducing the hardware performance requirements to a minimum. This approach is based on early experiences where the company founder had been involved in CNC machine control programming based on a CMOS micro-controller (CDP1802 COSMAC) running at 1.0 MHz (!) used in CNC diamond grinding machines, e.g. for the automotive industry.
Today, we are looking at several thousands of DSP-MIPS allowing us to make the impossible real. Still, we are reluctant to waste precious performance, employing co-processers in form of FPGA devices where meaningful.
The abundance of projects has also yielded a number of speech and other algorithms which are offered in form of libraries for different target platforms.

For many years, we have been developing complex hardware for digital signal processing applications, based on both standard DSP devices (e.g. Analog Devices SHARC and Blackfin, Texas Instruments C5000, C6000 and DaVinci, as well as FPGA and CPLD devices from Xilinx and other vendors. Wherever necessary, we also make use of micro-controller devices including ARM7, PIC and MSP430.
We are experienced users of tools for schematic capture (Orcad, Protel, Altium) and CAD layout (Protel, Altium, Ultiboard), VHDL for FPGA and CPLD devices. A major advantage is our capability of rapid prototyping using our in-house soldering equipment for standard SMT, BGA and fine-pitch components.
Larger batches of PCB production are generally outsourced to our local EMS partners, however, quality testing is performed by ourselves using functional test equipment and a Corelis boundary scan test system.
